PATH provides the support that unhoused individuals and families need to successfully transition from living on the street/in shelters to thriving in homes of their own long term. These services are available to individuals, families, and veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. This nonprofit will provide employment, outreach, eviction prevention, housing navigation, interim housing, and re-housing services. To apply https://epath.org/get-help/

The Section 8 housing program in California is designed to help low-income families find homes within their financial means. The California Section 8 Program or Housing Choice Voucher Program is provided with funds, which are given in the form of vouchers to eligible applicants in the Section 8 program. The vouchers are distributed to the landlord or property owner directly on behalf of the applicant. Section 8 assistance is available only to U.S. citizens, non-citizens with legal immigration status, and "mixed families" (families in which at least one, but not all members have eligible immigration status). Head Start, Early Head Start, and Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership promote the school readiness of children ages birth to 5 from low-income families. In addition to supporting the children’s learning, the program offers support and services for everyone in the family.  Services are provided in a variety of settings, including centers, family child care, and the children’s own home.

Latino Health Access partners with communities to bring health, equity, and sustainable change

through education, services, consciousness-raising, and civic participation. Since its establishment in 1993, Latino Health Access has partnered with low-income communities of color in Orange County to address inequities that impact their health.

Latino Resource Organization

Latino Resource Organization (LRO) operates in West Los Angeles to serve the low-income community.  LRO operates as a community grass-root resource center where families can reach out to secure basic needs by providing a variety of social services

L.A. Care Family Resource Centers

L.A. Care provides access to quality health care for Los Angeles County's vulnerable and low-income residents.

Services offered include: Food pantry, wifi for telehealth visits, Preventive Health Screenings, support groups, Social Services Assistance, recreational classes, and enrollment support for insurance health plans.

Mindful Parenting Newborn:
A Post-Partum Therapeutic Group

This group provides a supportive environment to connect with your baby and other moms in a safe space. Moms can gain valuable tools for enhancing the mother-infant bond, support for breastfeeding, and management of the "baby blues," as well as postpartum depression and anxiety. This support group does have an associated cost of $320 for an 8-week series.
